Last thing we heard is that Mark Murphy's promising independent comedy film is going to be released this year (2019). We don't have confirmation for that or an officially announced release date yet, but thought you'd like to finally see the official trailer. Ivan plays Patrick, the father of bride-to-be Connie (Samantha Barks) who wants to marry Mark (Robert Kazinsky) just to get a piece of the stunning amount of money he is about to make. Mark finds out about that and starts to play tricks on her to test how far she is ready to go. Anna Chancellor stars as Ivan's wife and Connie's mother and the two of them seem to be a couple with quite some interesting fantasies which they're testing on one of their poor guests.
A sneak peek review told us that the film is not only great fun as a whole, but gets even better and jumps to a new level when they arrive at the house of Connie's parents - when Ivan and Anna Chancellor come into play. Especially Ivan has been praised for his formidable performance well in advance of release (podcast review with tanscript and slide show). As the director Mark Murphy and his prior films have won awards we're looking forward to see what this movie will bring for Ivan and we're convinced that an award is not impossible provided the film gets enough attention.
