"ROMA" is the most personal project to date of the Oscar-winning director and writer Alfonso Cuarón ("Gravedad", "Niños del hombre", "Y tu mamá también"). The story focuses on Cleo (Yalitza Aparicio), the young domestic worker of a middle-class family in the Roma neighborhood of Mexico City. Based on his own childhood, Cuarón writes a love letter to the women who raised him and paints a vivid and emotional portrait of both the daily struggle of families and social hierarchies during the seventies, with all its political turmoil .
