SPIDER-MAN: Far From Home | (2019) Tom Holland, Marvel Movie

Spider-Man: Far From Home is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is intended to be the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and the twenty-third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Far From Home will be the 23rd movie released in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the second on which Marvel and Sony worked together after 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming. In 2015, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures announced the partnership that would allow Marvel to spearhead the creative direction of the webslinger, introducing Peter Parker to the MCU, while Sony maintained the character's film rights. After a successful introduction of Tom Holland's Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, the character has led his own solo film and appeared in Avengers: Infinity War. Next, he'll return for Avengers 4 and the Phase 4 launchpad, Spider-Man: Far From Home. Because Spider-Man: Far From Home is technically a Sony Pictures movie, the studio handles the distribution and marketing - not Marvel Studios. As a result, it makes sense Sony would want to have the first Spider-Man: Far From Home teaser trailer ready to play in theaters alongside the release of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. That means the Spider-Man: Far From Home first trailer will probably arrive in mid to late December. However, that's still speculation as neither Sony nor Marvel has offered any insight about when the first trailer will officially debut.
